BEESWAX
Beeswax, one of the world’s oldest and purest waxes, was used in history’s first-ever healing cream, created by the physician, Galen, more than 2000 years ago. Deeply nourishing and moisturizing, beeswax’s complex chemistry is why we love to use it in our products: when combined with oil and water, beeswax is even more effective in locking the moisture into the skin than pure oils.
Beeswax also provides a breathable barrier against environmental factors and is often used as treatment for burns, inflammation, and bruising and credited with anti-allergenic and antibacterial properties.
Some evidence shows that beeswax has the ability to fight the damage of free radicals and enhance skin’s elasticity, which is why you’ll find it in many Nazelie products.
